Make a 30 sec video showing what you love about Decentraland for a chance to win a Vive Flow VR headset from HTC + MANA!
Decentraland’s Film Club contest is back for a 3rd year in a row, this time with an exciting partner! Together with HTC, the Decentraland Foundation will be offering prizes consisting of Vive Flow VR headsets + MANA for the best videos that show what you love about Decentraland. Each year’s Film Club contest always yields amazing and inspiring creations from Decentraland’s community which are then featured at Decentraland’s Birthday Party event for everyone to enjoy—this year the expectations are as high as ever. There are so many different things to do in Decentraland and reasons to love it—share yours with the world!
What do you have to do to enter?
Create a maximum 30 second-long video of footage that you captured yourself that shows what you love about Decentraland and post it on Twitter with the hashtag #DCLFilmClub by February 8, 2023 7AM UTC. The contest is open as of today, January 12, 2023.
Your video must be safe for work and should be directly related to Decentraland. You may use whatever tools, scripts, models, images, or audio you like as long as you do not use copyrighted material (obtain usage rights if necessary). This year, contest partner HTC is providing 10 of their Vive Flow VR headsets to the top winners of the 2023 Film Club. One of the lightest VR headsets currently on the market that only requires a single USB-C connection and a Bluetooth-connected smartphone to be used, the Vive Flow is one of the most portable VR options available. Once connected to the Vive app store, you can enjoy calming meditation experiences, explore virtual lands, play games, and watch movies. Although it can’t be used to explore Decentraland, it still makes a pretty cool prize! The top 3 winners will also receive MANA prizes in addition to a Vive Flow VR headset.
